What is the secret (cause, reason) Eye Movement Restructuring eliminates anxiety, anger, fear and depression?
Dr. Edward S. Hume, expert in adult psychiatry, says we are not sure why it works, but it does. Simply providing side to side sensations to a person while discussing traumatic events in a specific therapeutic fashion can work wonders in allowing the person to heal himself or herself.
1. There are two voluntary behaviors we can trigger from our Central Nervous system and Sympathetic Nervous System that produce personal power in the face of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. One is breathing patterns, the other is our eye-movements.
2. Anxiety, sense of danger, fear, anger and sadness are Right Hemispheric
experiences. Dissolve them from the movie-screen of your mind through
Left Hemispheric activities and instantaneously trigger joy, peace of mind,
and happiness in their place.
3. Can you learn Eye Movement Reconstruction and produce the same effects without the intervention of a medical practitioner?
Answer: you can be a master of this system in five minutes and inhibit your right-brain from nightmares (and daymares) of traumatic stress if you follow our instructions. Never again suffer test anxiety, angst before interviews and presentations, or random panic attacks without a strategy to defeat them. More later.

and inhibit and repress your Right Hemisphere from flashing these horror

Simultaneously, Eye Movement Restructuring shifts your brain from
Sympathetic Nervous System dominance (adrenaline/epinephrine and
cortisol) to Parasympathetic Nervous System pumping out acetylcholine
to cause relaxation and peace of mind.
6. Two Minutes: You own six extraocular eye muscles in each eye, four are Rectus and two Oblique. It is easier to demonstrate the six eye movements than verbalize the activities. Half the exercises are done with your eyes closed and the balance looking straight ahead.
a) voluntarily shift your eyes (laterally) to your extreme left for a count of one-two-three. Repeat this eye movement to your lateral right, three times.
b) Move your eyes upward toward the ceiling left (northwest) for a count of three. Repeat three times. Now move your eyes upward right (northeast) for a three count. Repeat three times.
c) Now move your eyes downward left toward the floor (southwest) for a count of three. Repeat three times. Finally move your eyes downward right toward the floor (southeast) for a count of three. Repeat this eye movement three times.
You have exercised all twelve of your eye muscles and shifted brain
dominance to your left brain. Both hemispheres are now in sync and
and using entrainment to work together. If you continue this two minute
exercise for 21 days you create a permanent habit and activate your
mental auto pilot setting.
7. Speedlearning is concerned about these eye movement exercises because speed reading is a psychomotor skill located on the right brain while still using left brain skills.
Normal (snailing) reading programming is located on the left brain.
These eye movement exercises excite (trigger) your corpus callosum to communicate both speed reading and normal reading skills for left brain dominance. Long term memory, attention and motivation (right brain programming) combine left and right brain neural networks.
8. Your left brain is positive in outlook, seeking solutions to problems,
searching for pleasure and to avoid pain. Science, math and learning
are strongly left brain attributes. It drives you to discovery and creativity.
9. Your right brain is more conservative in point of view, engaged in stream of consciousness. Our senses (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) access our mind through our right brain. It is on the alert, our early warning system for danger, threat and pain. It is not negative but it is not a positively driven as our left brain.
10. REM (rapid eye movements) occurs during dream sleep. The purpose of our dreaming appears to be like a computer using Save and Delete. Important information is stored (saved) in our long term memory; junk is disgarded (deleted). Nightmares use REM for nocturnal hallucinations while our left brain is operating on idle.
You are now aware of an effective strategy to eliminate Post Traumatic Stress, excessive worry, and anxiety. A positive state of mind improves your test scores, interviews and presentation.
